WINTER 2007/2008.....
...A winter to remember!
...A winter to remember!
This has been the longest winter we have ever experienced! We had snow covering our yard from just before Thanksgiving until the first week of March! Then, a few weeks later we had more snow and then more snow and yes even more SNOW! I last saw that our snow levels this winter were creeping above 87 inches! That was before the last few snowy nights, so we may have made our way near 88 inches. Truly amazing! The kids and I have enjoyed the snow and have certainly made the most of it! Taylor went skiing for the second year and he continues to be a dare devil! The rest of us enjoyed sledding, shoveling (day after day), snowball fights and finally making a snowman! We also had the opportunity to watch big construction equipment come in and clear our roads of the snow that was taking over our neighborhood! Here are some pictures of the fun we had in the snow this year! Although, we enjoyed it, we REALLY are ready for SPRING, green grass, flowers, and not having to bundle up every time we leave the house!
Taylor's first ever soccer game was canceled today (April 5th) due to SNOW!!!
Maybe next week!

The new swing set we put up in time for Spring (if only Mother Nature would cooperate)!
The snow didn't stop us from having fun!
Finally we had wet enough snow to make a snowman! He's all decked out with an ice chipper and his Griz gear!
